„Edgelands” are the interfacial interzone between urban and rural: a hot mix of rubbish tips, superstores, office parks, rough-hewn farmland, gas towers, electricity pylons, wildlife and service stations. The interface where infrastructure and architecture collide, is explored with the help from the environmentalist Marion Shoard in this short film, shot primarily in the outer urban areas of Melbourne, the place for „toxic architecture design terrorism”.
